The cost of studying in USA varies significantly based on the university type (public vs. private), program, and location. While tuition fees can range from approximately $20,000 to $60,000+ per year, living expenses also need to be factored in. However, numerous scholarships, grants, and assistantships are available to help offset these costs. We work diligently to help you find financially viable options and explore all avenues for funding your education.

Application & Admission Process

Common requirements include:

  • Strong academic transcripts and certificates (10th, 12th, Bachelor’s degree).
  • Standardized test scores like GRE/GMAT (for graduate programs) and TOEFL/IELTS (English proficiency).
  • Statement of Purpose (SOP) outlining your academic and career aspirations.
  • Letters of Recommendation (LORs) from professors or employers.
  • Resume/CV detailing your academic and professional experience.
  • Proof of financial ability to cover your educational and living expenses.
  • Some programs may require specific essays, portfolios, or interviews.

These tests are crucial for demonstrating your academic aptitude and English language proficiency. While some universities might offer waivers or have flexible policies, competitive scores significantly strengthen your application to top US universities. We provide guidance on preparing for these exams and understanding university-specific requirements.

Absolutely. Our approach is highly personalized. We consider your academic background, professional aspirations, interests, and financial situation. The entire process, from initial counseling to receiving an admit and securing a visa, can take anywhere from 6 to 18 months, depending on your target intake (Fall or Spring) and how prepared you are. We recommend starting early to allow ample time for test preparation, application drafting, and visa processing.

Part time work

Yes, F1 visa holders are generally permitted to work part-time, but with strict regulations set by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and your university’s Designated School Official (DSO). It’s essential to understand and adhere to these rules to maintain your F1 status.

While school is in session (during regular academic terms like fall and spring semesters), F1 students are typically limited to working up to 20 hours per week. During official school breaks, such as summer vacation, winter break, or spring break, you are usually allowed to work full-time (more than 20 hours, typically up to 40 hours per week), provided you intend to register for the next academic semester.

Visa & Post-Study Options

Once you receive your I-20 form from a SEVP-approved US university, you’ll apply for the F1 student visa at a US Embassy or Consulate in India. The process involves paying fees (SEVIS fee, visa application fee), completing the DS-160 form, and attending a visa interview. Our experts provide detailed assistance for each step, including mock visa interviews to boost your confidence.

SEVP stands for the Student and Exchange Visitor Program, managed by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). A SEVP-approved university is an institution certified by SEVP to enroll international students on F-1 (academic) or M-1 (vocational) visas. This certification confirms that the university meets strict federal requirements to host foreign students.

Yes, international students on an F1 visa can apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT), which allows you to work in your field of study for 12 months (and an additional 24 months for STEM degrees). This experience is often a stepping stone to securing an H1B visa sponsorship from a US employer, enabling you to continue working long-term in the USA.

US universities have robust career services, including career fairs, resume workshops, interview preparation, and alumni networking. Combined with your OPT authorization, this significantly enhances your chances of securing employment in the USA.
